Further
Information:

Low flow showerheads use up to 60 percent less water than standard fixtures. Consider that during a 6-minute shower you could save as much as 108 litres of water with a low flow showerhead. If you shower every day this could translate to a savings of about 40,000 litres of water per year. Also, by installing a water efficient faucet aerator you can save up to 10 litres of water per minute.

Developed by the Pembina
Institute, the One Less Tonne tool allows you to calculate typical greenhouse
gas emission reductions (and energy cost savings) associated with actions. The average Canadian household emits 13
tonnes of greenhouse gas annually. See
if you can reduce your emissions and increase your savings by making some
changes in your home.
