EcoLogic Spray Foam Insulation

Product image

product library image

What is this product?

EcoLogic Spray Foam Insulation was created because of the owner’s personal need for better insulation and lowered heating bills. With today’s high energy prices, the cost of heating poorly insulated buildings is prohibitive. In addition to its industry leading thermal resistance, EcoLogic Spray Foam Insulation leads to improved air quality, reduced drafts, a dust and mold free interior living environment, and buildings that prevent moisture infiltration and reduce noise transference into homes and offices.

What is sustainable about this product?

Saves energy:
EcoLogic Spray Foam Insulation takes the prize for hitting the most eco-buttons. EcoLogic Spray Foam Insulation is a polyurethane foam system made out of recycled plastic (a barrel of EcoLogic contains 1000 plastic bottles) and soya oil. It is also a zero ozone depletion product. Together with Demilec, the first Canadian manufacturer of spray polyurethane Foam to meet the requirements of the Montreal Protocol, EcoLogic brings you the industry leading insulation system.

Product image

product library image

What is this product?

It has been proven that a building's window system has the highest infiltration, the highest conductivity, and highest solar radiation factor.
The reason is glass. IN'FLECTOR Windows Insulators are the only known system that addresses all three areas, offering several benefits which are not available in other single component systems.

Furthermore it is the only known product on the market today which works every season, day and night, 365 days a year.
Regardless of your present heating and coiling system IN'FLECTOR INSULATORS can save up to 50% of energy costs and make the building a more comfortable place for customers and employees.

What is sustainable about this product?

Saves energy:
The product reduces cold air infiltration up to 71%, stops solar heat gain up to 65%, retains 72% of the heat or cold in the room, and blocks up to 90% of harmful UV rays.

Structural Insulated Panel by EcoSIP

Product image

product library image

What is this product?

These panels are made like a sandwich composed of two sheets of oriented strand board (a durable and stronger version of plywood), plus rigid, extruded, polystyrene foam (EPS) which comes in different thicknesses and various predictable insulation values (based upon the value R 4 per inch of thickness). These sandwich panels provide 2-3 times the strength of a traditionally built wall, floor and roof, because they have the properties of a continuous column or I-beam. These panels don’t twist, warp or crack. Instead, they provide perfectly square and plumb walls, roofs and floors…which are a huge benefit to every builder.

What is sustainable about this product?

They save energy:
When one looks at EPS and OSB the word green isn’t necessarily the first thing that comes to mind. The reality is that at ecosips we have chosen these products carefully in order to find a balance of durability, recyclability and affordability. We are constantly looking to improve our product but are bound by the time it takes to develop and structurally test new types of skins and cores.

P-2000 Insulation System

Product image

product library image

What is this product?

The P2000 insulation system is a high performance sheet insulation. It is made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) and reflective laminates similar to Mylar. Unlike conventional insulations, P2000 reflects radiant energy before it has a chance to penetrate the insulation, virtually stopping heat transfer in its tracks. The self-taping joints form a complete vapour and air barrier making moisture and wind problems a thing of the past. Installed across the framing members P2000 eliminates the thermal bridging of heat through studs, rafters, and joists. It is so powerful that less than 1”has been proven to outperform 6” of fibreglass insulation. P2000 comes with a 20 year warranty.

What is sustainable about this product?

Conserves Natural Resources: EPS is composed of 98% air and can
be 100% recycled.

Saves Energy: EPS consumes
very little energy in its manufacture.
Once
installed, P2000 insulation systems maintain the interior temperature of the
building over longer periods, reducing both the energy consumption and
emissions from heating and cooling units.

Avoids Toxic or Other Emissions: EPS produces minimal emissions during manufacturing and is free from formaldehyde, ozone depleting CFC’s and HCFC’s. All the pentane used for expanding the polystyrene is extracted from the finished product so it can be reused over and again.
