What is this product?
The Diagonal Dowel System consists of several solid-wood elements joined securely with diagonally-inserted hard-wood dowels. The Diagonal Dowels stabilize the individual elements and minimize the natural tendency of wood to swell and shrink without using toxic glues or excessive fasteners.
What is sustainable about this product?
Contributes to a safe and healthy environment:
LCA's have proven that wood has many characteristics of an environmentally sound material. Wood, for example, is renewable, biodegradable, non-toxic, energy efficient, recycable, and reusable.

What is this product?
LOCK-BLOCK™ units are placed in a column so that they interlock at shear key locations to provide structural integrity and wall batter. Wall batter can be achieved by placing all blocks at an inclination. The center of gravity of wall and wall batter are sensitive physical dimensions of the wall structure with respect to the wall stability.
What is sustainable about this product?
Made with recycled content:
LOCK-BLOCK™ units are generally made of "return concrete."

What is this product?
Fastfoot® is the fabric membrane that protects:
* our environment as we build by preventing ground water contamination and waste of forming materials;
* indoor air quality by preventing rising damp for the life of the building.
Stakes are driven into the ground, 2x4 screed boards attached at the correct height, and Fastfoot® is stapled to each 2x4 to form and protect the concrete from ground moisture.
What is sustainable about this product?
Fastfoot® conserves natural resources: A single 12.5 pound roll of Fastfoot® will form the same footing as 900 pounds of lumber, representing a dramatic increase in efficiency.
Fastfoot® Provides a Drier, Healthier Indoor Environment:
Fastfoot® prevents rising damp and mold. The Fastfoot® membrane prevents moisture from wicking up through the concrete footing into the home.
Fastfoot® Prevents Ground Water Pollution: Fastfoot® is a damp proof membrane and prevents concrete toxins from contaminating sensitive ground water.

What is this product?
The Durisol Wall Form System is an insulated concrete forming system (ICF) with built-in thermal, acoustical and fire protection. It uses a cement-bonded wood fiber material that is neutralized, mineralized and bonded together with Portland cement.
What is sustainable about this product?
Avoids Toxic or Other Emissions: Durisol is environmentally safe, does not contain nor emit any toxic elements (no VOCs or CFCs),contains no plastic, foams or polystyrenes, does not rot or decay and is fully recyclable.
Conserves Natural Resources: The wood fiber used is clean and un-used softwood lumber taken from post-industrial sources, that would have otherwise been sent to the landfill.
Saves Energy: The forms use mineral fiber insulation that is non-combustible, moisture resistant and positioned towards the exterior of the wall, resulting in additional energy efficiency and cost savings. Interior and exterior finishes can be applied directly to the Durisol material, eliminating subsequent steps in the construction process, making it more efficient. It is also more efficient during the construction process because it is stronger than most alternatives, there are zero blow-outs and construction can take place all year round.

What is this product?
ECO-Block Insulating Concrete Form (ICF) is an advanced construction technology. ICFs are hollow blocks or panels made of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) that a construction crew stacks to create the exterior walls of a residential or commercial building. Workers then add reinforcing steel and fill the gap between the two layers of foam with concrete. This combination of concrete, steel and foam creates a very strong and energy-efficient structure. After the concrete has hardened, the forms stay in place and become the insulation for the walls.
What is sustainable about this product?
Saves Energy:
ECO-Block buildings can save 25 – 50% in monthly utility cost over the life span of the structure, translating into fewer resources consumed for the creation of energy.
Conserves Natural Resources:
Use of wood products in construction is significantly reduced.
Made with Recycled Content:
ECO-Block uses recycled material whenever possible. All of the embedded webbing and a percentage of the connectors are manufactured from 100% post-industrial recycled copolymer polypropylene.

What is this product?
Rastra® is an insulated concrete form system made of a lightweight
material called ThastyronTM. Made from a mixture of recycled foam
plastic and a cementitious binder, it provides a permanent framework
for a grid of reinforced concrete to form load-bearing walls, shear
walls, stem walls, lintels, retaining walls, and other components of a
building.
What is sustainable about this product?
Made with Recycled Content: The RASTRA® wall takes
non-biodegradable waste, such as Polystyrene which is widely used for
packing, drinking cups, food trays etc. out of the waste stream and
converts it into high quality housing.
Conserves Natural Resources: RASTRA® is fire proof, earth
quake safe, rodent and termite proof, resists storms, and provides
privacy due to good acoustic attenuation. It conserves energy because builders use up to 60% smaller units for air
conditioning/heating and saves even more on utilities. RASTRA® means higher living
quality with unlimited lifetime at low maintenance cost.
