What is this product?
We quarry 3 colours of marble from Vancouver Island which we process into slabs, cut to size and pavers at our plant in Duncan, BC. The quarry located near Tahsis yields the Vancouver Island Whitle marble and the Tlupana Blue marble and the quarry near Lake Cowichan yields the Black Carmanah marble. All 3 varieties are well suited for interior and exterior usage, bathrooms, walls, floors, and fireplaces. The Vancouver Island White and Tlupana Blue varieties are also well suited for kitchen countertop use.
What is sustainable about this product?
Saves Energy:
Becuase this material is quarried and processed on Vancouver Island there is a minimal carbon footprint associated with its production.
Conserves Natural Resources:
Because this is a long lasting building material it requires little maintenance and no replacement.
