Our wood finish of choice is waterborne, the reason being that, when applied properly, it provides the longest possible protection and looks the most natural, highlighting - not masking - the wood's beautiful grain. To be sure, every good quality finish will perform well if maintained according to the manufacturer's directions; however, waterborne finishes will bring out the nicest look in the wood and will outlast the other types.
