About the event:

The Net Zero Energy forum had the latest experts and developers present what the current trends are emerging with NZEH construction in the US and Canada and where this fits on the residential building sustainability continuum. A Net Zero Energy Home (NZEH) is a home capable of producing as much energy as it consumes over a year, through coupling a highly energy efficient building envelope with integrated renewable energy options. The forum touched on the key requirements for integrating, optimizing, and deploying NZEH in BC. This forum was very well attended by a diverse audience, consisting of homebuilders, engineers, architects, utilities, real estate brokers, financial institutions, government, college and universities, residential services and product suppliers.
