 2007-08 Highlights

• Light House staff reached 7,463 people through visits to the resource centre and booths at public events and trade shows.
• We held 58 Guest Expert sessions
• We worked with 97 active volunteers for a total of 3,259 volunteer hours.
• We delivered 24 training seminars to 838 industry professionals.
• Light House partnerships and active agreements with industry increased to 110

2007 Highlights

• Light House staff provided individual career consultations and internships to 51 industry professionals and recent graduates seeking to enter the green building sector.
• We delivered 25 Green Building 101 workshops to 249 people actively planning home renovations or new home projects.
• A total of 766 participants attended 34 Saturday afternoon Guest Expert seminars.
• We delivered technical assistance including energy modeling, integrated design facilitation and green building technical advice to a total of 25 projects.
• Light House had 136 active volunteers who contributed more than 3000 hours.
• We delivered five market insight reports and briefing sessions to 228 busines leaders and industry professionals across BC.
