Eco-Sense Tour: The building of a sustainable house

This tour will show the loadbearing cob wood working shop and the house that is in progress. The house is the first of its kind, engineered to be the first code approved high occupancy load bearing cob building in Canada. The tour will be hosted by Angela Evans of Saanich.
Eco-Sense March Update - Fowl Weather

to putting our clothes on the line, pour the foundation, finish our irrigation
system, gather and de-nail 2000 linear feet of used lumber, terrace our
hillside and build all our raised beds including 28 yards of soil (approx.
8,640 shovel fulls) for our vegetable gardens, … oh and gather and clean “our

Change Everything

Its got plenty of useful information and insightful stories, on top of a nicely (and locally) designed site. I'm not sure how I feel about changing EVERYTHING... but hats off to the Vancity community expanding the forum.
