Green parking structures for townhomes
Submitted by dart8 on Sun, 27/04/2008 - 09:11.I am working with a developer who is building an 8-unit townhouse complex on a rocky site. The current design has an enclosed gagage and one parking spot for each unit a la business-as-usual. I am trying to move him towards a central parking facility to enhance health of individual homes and, ideally, one covered with a green roof. I am finding it hard to come up with design examples and would appreciate any assistance in this direction.
