Does LEED Certify Material?
Submitted by laura on Thu, 30/08/2007 - 09:45.I am looking for information on whether glass, copper and zinc are LEED recognized materials.
There is no such thing as LEED endorsed or recognized material. LEED simply sets out the strategies and it is up to the designer to assemble materials and components to meet these standards. Some products do offer designers sample specifications and information as to how their products help meet certain LEED credits (eg Interface, Dinoflex, etc)
