The Living Building Challenge Road Show is Coming to Vancouver!


Take advantage of this excellent opportunity to learn about the evolution of green building by attending one of the pilot workshops now being offered in six cities across Canada, educating and highlighting the dynamic aspects of this cutting-edge system in green building. Geared toward all advanced green building practitioners, these workshops are designed to identify and discuss strategies for deep-green projects.

Each workshop will be six hours long and includes lunch, and a variety of tangible benefits, such as relevant printed material and a one-year membership in the Living Building Community to encourage ongoing involvement.

Vancouver Living Builder Users Group: Understanding the Challenge

The aim of the Living Building Challenge is to inspire the creation of true sustainability in the built environment.  Cascadia staff will give an introduction to the Challenge and a panel, composed of Living Building project teams, will showcase the projects that will be used to focus future Living Building User group discussions.  In the 5 subsequent sessions in 2009, panel discussions from the same project teams will explore approaches, challenges, and solutions for achieving the challenge based on these actual projects' pursuit of the challenge.
