Gerding Edlen in 2007 became the first development company to aim for the Living Building level in several of its new developments. Gerding Edlen has further committed to having all of it's projects produce more energy than they consume and consume more waste than they produce by 2012.

The City of North Vancouver is turning 100 this year and to honour this landmark achievement, the City is hard at work preparing numerous Centennial festivities that will take place between January and July.
