November speaker for Connecting Environmental Professionals will be Dr. John Robinson, who is a professor at UBC in the Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability (IRES), and in the Department of Geography.

Youth Ambassador - CEP

CEP's Youth Ambassador campaign shares information about the challenge of climate change and the actions we can all take in our daily lives to save money, improve health and comfort, and save the planet. The Ambassadors will be encouraging British Columbians to take advantage of a wide range of incentives available to help make smart choices at home, on the road and at work.

Connecting Environmental Professionals is excited to announce its February
speaker event, featuring Professor William Rees from the UBC School of Community
and Regional Planning (SCARP). Prof. Rees will be giving a talk entitled
Epiphany, Serendipity, and the Genesis of Ecological Footprint Analysis, and
will be discussing his career and as suggested by the title of his talk, the
development of the ecological footprint. Prof. Rees' teaching and research focus
on the public policy and planning implications of global environmental trends
