WISA Healthy Home
R2000 is the minimum construction standard for a new WISA Healthy Home.
Today, R2000 homes are designed with a durable building envelop making them extremely energy efficient and low maintenance. They also care for occupant health with good ventilation and high performance equipment such as heat recovery ventilators and ground source heat pumps. R2000 builders are specially trained to build to such high standards. The R2000 home of tomorrow will offer as standard water saving features such as grey-water plumbing, using waste-water from showers and washing machines to flush toilets. It will also push the boundaries of energy efficiency towards “net-zero”, making as much energy as it uses. These houses of tomorrow are here now.
