UniverCity
UniverCity is the award-winning new community at Simon Fraser University on Burnaby Mountain, BC. In total, 1,800 homes will be constructed over the next 7 to 10 years.
The project created its own green development guidelines so homes are designed to be healthier, more energy and resource efficient while respecting the mountain’s unique climate. The community
plan also includes innovative approaches to stormwater management and watercourse protection, an extensive network of pedestrian
and bicycle pathways and community transit passes.
