About the RSBC:
The Rivershed Society of BC, a non-profit charitable organization, formed in 1996, in the wake of Fin Donnelly's 1,400 km Fraser River swim. In 2001, they developed the Healthy Riversheds Strategy, a ten-year plan focused on bringing "rivershed sustainability" to the rivershed communities of the Fraser River Basin, the greatest salmon system on Earth. Using ecological carrying capacity as a guiding principle, the RSBC delivers education and leadership progams, builds stewardship capacity, fosters critical thinking and encourages sustainable solutions in BC's riversheds.
