Permaculture-Agricultural opportunity in Maui
Hi Permaculture-Organic farming folks
My wife and I have a permaculture farm on Maui Hawaii on the dry side.
I have been doing this project since the big Permaculture Design Course with Bill Mollison in 1981 (where he met Rene Slay) It is a tropical fruit farm with over 500 grafted trees many mangoes and avocados and so many exotics.
We have an opening for a couple with or without kids who have agricultural skill, experience and interest in Permaculture and organic farming.
We are mostly vegetarian (I am pure vegetarian) and are interested in yoga and eastern mysticism, ocean activities, and plants/trees/semi-tropical paradise.
We have 2 girls - 6 and 12 and about 10 people live here in their own houses.
We work together on projects one day a week and the individual houses come with fruiting orchards that have to be cared for/ enjoyed by the party living in that orchard.

I wish i had know about this
I wish i had know about this place while on vacation with my girlfriend we had taken princess cruises but had almost no time to visit the places we wanted. I'm curious about the number you mentioned for the grafted trees and wondering if you had more room why not take up plant tissue culture, you can create nearly as many clones in a month as you would a year and even sell them to other farms once rooted.
