Outreach Representatives and Team Leaders - BC Hydro Outreach

BC Hydro Outreach Now Recruiting

BC Hydro Outreach is currently recruiting outgoing and energetic individuals to work as Outreach representatives and team leaders for both four and eight-month positions starting May 1.

As part of the Turn It Off tour, representatives will attend community-based events to deliver presentations and hold information sessions to educate customers and build awareness of BC Hydro's campaigns and initiatives.

"We are looking for very outgoing, personable individuals to interact with the public on a daily basis so as to generate and reinforce an energy conservation ethic in communities around the province," says Brianne Rusk, campaign manager with BC Hydro Outreach. "Our hope is to attract qualified candidates with these skills to BC Hydro. Working as an Outreach representative is a great entry point and introduction to the company."

Teams of full-time representatives will be based out of Burnaby, Surrey,Victoria, Nanaimo, Kamloops, Vernon and Prince George and will travel to surrounding communities as needed. Teams will work weekends and evenings with regular days off being Monday, Tuesday and/or Wednesday.

The application deadline is February 24.
