Living off the land

Hi,

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I'm looking for someone to point me in the direction of a good book. I have about 300 acres of forest in the Missouri ozarks and would like to build a green home on it.
I would actually like to do most of the work myself and want to find someone to mill some of the lumber from the land. It hasn't been logged at all and it would actually probably help reduce the fuel load in the surrounding woods.
Does anyone know of a good do-it-yourself book building with local materials?
