The Role
Enerpro Systems Corp. is looking for an experienced and extremely organized Electrician/Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. The focus of this position is to manage new on-site construction or modifications to existing facilities in the area of energy management. The scope includes all construction and commissioning interface aspects of site construction. Included is coordination of all the activities for contract work with an emphasis on safety, project schedule, project cost and quality.

The Key Responsibilities
• Defines project work scope and prepares budget estimates for the construction components of capital projects in the assigned jurisdiction
• Prepares project plans describing the scope, sequence, and work schedule. Identifies potential hazards and resolutions
• Coordinates project schedule and tracks progress, identifying potential problems and appropriate solutions
• Performs inspections on completed work to ensure quality is maintained in accordance with contract specifications
• Assume site supervisor responsibilities on designated projects
• Coordinates various work groups involved with projects and multi-phase construction projects simultaneously
• Coordinates power shutdowns with BC Hydro and customers
• Installation, trouble shooting, modification and repair of equipment including electrical meters, various control systems and HVAC equipment. Installation of phone line and simple computer networks

Key Requirements
• Valid BC Certificate of Qualification - Electrician (Construction and Maintenance), minimum 5 years electrical experience and thorough working knowledge of electrical trade
• Experience as a supervisor in construction, maintenance, commissioning or similar area is preferred
• Highly effective communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Superior organizational, analytical, and problem solving abilities
• Working knowledge of PC applications in a Windows oriented environment and PLC systems
• Experience working independently and in a team-oriented environment
• Valid BC drivers license
