LEED Gold targeted Modern Multifamily project in North Vancouver

This 24 unit, 27,500 sq ft concrete building is in its 5th month of construction and to be completed by August 2008.
Our objective is a LEED Gold certfication (Recollective is our LEED consultants). A key component is Geothermal heat exchange from the hydronic concrete floors that creates a thermal mass in the winter months and cooling of the units in the summer without needing air conditioning. The original site was a brownfield, home of a Texaco gas station since 1957. All of The Brook'smany features/benefits create a unique project as well as leading edge example for green building practices of a low rise residential building in the Lower Mainland.
