Climate Change Officer

The British Consulate-General in Vancouver is recruiting a
Climate Change Officer to help the Climate Change Attache
take forward low carbon, high growth activities in Western
Canada. Promoting a low carbon, high growth economy is
at the heart of the UK's strategic foreign policy agenda
(further information can be found at
http://www.fco.gov.uk/en/fco-in-action/carbon/).
The position is being offered for a two-year contract with
the possibility of a one-year extension. This is a new post
and will require flexibility, imagination and enthusiasm
from the jobholder. You will need to be a self-starter and a
productive member of a small team.
The position is subject to passing security clearance and a
probation period. The salary scale for the position starts
at CAN$ 45,182 + benefits per annum.
