Are there any studies that have assessed resource consumption savings on green buildings versus conventional?

What are you including in your definition of "resources"? Do you mean materials and/or energy. Do you include embodied energy, for example?
The best place to start is the Green Value report by the GVRD and RICS: on the GVRD buildsmart website.
Also, there is a ton of information on the benefits of green building on the USGBC.org website under research and resources.
