BEST seeking individuals to serve on the Board:

Committed to building a diverse and inclusive Board, BEST (Better Environmentally Sound Transportation) is encouraging people with the following backgrounds to consider joining the Board:

* Anyone interested in building communities that foster inclusive, sustainable modes of transportation

* Law

* Accounting

* Finance

* Communications

* People with knowledge and experience in social marketing

* Other? We’re interested in knowing more about your skills and experience.

Located in Vancouver, BEST (Better Environmentally Sound Transportation) is a member-based non-profit charitable organization that serves communities throughout British Columbia. BEST strives to make our communities healthier places to live by promoting sustainable transportation and land use planning, and supporting pedestrian, cycling, and transit-oriented neighbourhoods.

What We Do:

Since 1991, BEST (Better Environmentally Sound Transportation) has been offering innovative programs to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to inform people about the environmental, health, and community issues surrounding transportation. We work with individual citizens, governments, educators, youth, volunteers, nonprofits and community groups to create healthy and sustainable communities for the future.
