VIMFF Earth Alive Series: The Oil and Water Project
VIMFF Earth Alive Series: "The Oil and Water Project" multimedia show with films and discussions with world class kayaker and environmentalist Seth Warren on his crossing the Americas from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego on post consumer vegetable oil and having fun on the wildest rivers. Also, a discussion on the practical implications of various "bio-fuels" will be part of the program.
The Earth Alive Series of sustainability films is presented by One Earth Initiative and the David Suzuki Foundation in partnership with the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival (VIMFF -- www.vimff.org) and the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre. The Earth Alive Series takes place on the evenings of Feb. 24 to 28 at the Planetarium (H.R. MacMillan Space Centre).
Tickets $17 in advance, $19 at the door. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
