Transportation: On the right track for EcoDensity

This is a panel discussion with Dr. Larry Frank (Bombardier Chair holder in Sustainable Urban Transportation Systems), architect JP Thornton and transportation engineer Lon LaClaire. Dr. Frank, with UBC's School of Community and Regional Planning, will deliver the keynote speech. He specializes in the interaction between land use, travel behaviour, air quality and health. Mr. Thornton will comment on the relationship between parking and the development and financing of higher density housing, while Mr. LaClaire will focus on the connection between density and transit.
