On May 1, 2008 the
Canadian Institute of Energy (BC) is pleased to present a partial day symposium
to discuss perspectives on the Consumers’
Energy Conundrum: “Which fuel is best to heat my home?” This often
discussed and frequently avoided debate strikes to the heart of many of the
energy and environmental policy decisions being considered in the province
today.
Through a series of
panel discussions the issue will be explored providing a variety of insights
from end-users, policy makers, economists, utilities and resource planners. As
an attendee you will have opportunities to join with panel members to discuss
the issues and to participate in the audience feedback where the tables are
turned on panel members and observers.
