Sea-to-Sky Greenbelt from backyard to big wild
You're invited to upcoming public
information sessions on the Sea-to-Sky Greenbelt
initiative!!
What and
Why? A Greenbelt will
provide critical links and connections towards a landscape legacy for the
Sea-to-Sky corridor.
We have combined local and regional land use plans
in the corridor to determine what the cumulative effects are for land use and
water protection. We have also determined what could be protected in the future
by identifying gaps in land and water conservation.
We need your input
and feedback before we proceed towards developing an implementation strategy for
the Greenbelt.
Speakers from Smart Growth BC and the Community Mapping Network will be on
hand.
