"Practical Approaches to Sustainable Energy in BC"
Richard Clarke, Chairman, BCSEA Vancouver Chapter
Richard will discuss sustainable energy and what works in BC, including
wind power, solar
hot water and solar photo-voltaic. He will also discuss some of the BCSEA's current projects and how you can get involved - such as engaging the municipalities of GVRD and the Climate
Change Game, an educational program taken to over 100 schools and reducing more
than 4000 tonnes of G-Hogs (greenhouse gases).
Bio - Richard Clarke
is Chairman of the Vancouver
chapter of the BC Sustainable Energy
Association, a non-profit, voluntary organization focused on promoting,
educating and advocating the development of sustainable energy in BC. Richard is developing an energy-efficient HVAC ducting
business and sells CNC manufacturing machinery. He is passionate about renewable energy, especially ocean
wave and wind power and is working, in his spare time, on technologies to capture
this energy.

Our centre is onthe second floor and accessible via the glass door and staircase on theSouthwest corner of the building.
