Raingardens, Green Roofs, Bioswales: Where do they fit?
Site Adaptive Planning Presentation
with Scott Murdoch and Paul de Greeff
of Murdoch de Greeff Inc
Join us as Landscape Architects Scott Murdoch and Paul de Greeff introduce us to Site Adaptive Planning. Learn how best management practices such as rain gardens, green roofs and bioswales can be integrated correctly into the landscape, making sites functional as well as beautiful.
Scott and Paul take a science-based approach to planning and design. They believe that a thorough understanding of a site's natural opportunities and constraints is the cornerstone to logical and sustainable land use planning. MDI strives to reduce impacts on site hydrology, protect and enhance vegetation systems and build and sustain soil conditions while creating engaging and beautiful
landscapes.
There is no fee for this event; donations for the Burnside Gorge Community Centre will be graciously accepted at the door.
Space is limited.
