Mike Harcourt on "Sustainable Cities"

The City of North Vancouver is turning 100 this year and to honour this landmark achievement, the City is hard at work preparing numerous Centennial festivities that will take place between January and July. A noteworthy event is the City Futures Lecture Series, a sequence of presentations by three very distinguished personalities.
On February 15, 2007, Mr. Mike Harcourt will kick-off the Lecture Series with a presentation about conservation and sustainable development. This remarkable lecture will focus on developing a prosperous economy, maintaining a healthy environment and supporting creativity and innovation. Listeners will be inspired to take an interest in the future of our City and explore innovative ways to plan the future of our community.
Don’t miss this inspiring event in which Mr. Harcourt will also share the challenges he faced in overcoming a spinal cord injury and his battle in learning to walk again.
