regards to toxins and allergens within the home environment. A discussion will
be included on the importance of properly installed and maintained heating,
ventilation and air/conditioning systems. Overall, the presentation will help
you to understand simple solutions to improve the health of a home and the
environment.
Bio - Julie started an environmental home assessment
consulting service, JMH Home
Environmental Solutions, with six years of experience at an environmental
analytical laboratory and a dedication to providing healthy solutions to
homeowners. JMH Home Environmental Solutions provides a unique service by
assessing a client's home environment for potential exposure to toxins and
allergens in the home. The services include a comprehensive assessment of the
building envelope and mechanical systems, as well as analysis for mold, indoor
air quality, drinking water, and electromagnetic fields. The personalized,
detailed, and easy-to-understand solutions give a clear direction towards a
healthier and more environmentally friendly way of living. In addition to the
environmental home assessments, Julie works as a consultant for corporate Environmental
Management Systems.

LOCATION
We are located at 1575 Johnston
Street, just East of the Public Market in the
heart of Granville
Island. Our centre is on
the second floor and accessible via the glass door and staircase on the
Southwest corner of the building. This event is sponsored by Light House Sustainable
Building Centre and Cascadia Green Building Council, the local chapter of the
