Jason McCormick: Guest Expert

Jason will discuss and share some of the findings from Ci's
SHIFT Report - the first of its study in understanding consumer perceptions of
social responsibility, sustainability and the impact this has on lifestyle
choices, brand relationships and purchase decisions - and how it comes to life
for a variety of their clients including Light House.

Bio - After a successful career as advertising copywriter
working in major advertising agencies in London,
New York and LA on mainstream brands such as
Wickes Home Improvement Stores, Mars Confectionary, IBM, Perrier,
New York Times and the Fine Living Network,
Jason landed in Vancouver
in 2002 to help set up Ci.
Founded in 2002, Ci is a sustainability marketing group. Their unique brand of
storytelling is built upon insight gathered in the SHIFT report.

Ci brings their work to life for a variety of thought
leading brands including Nike (USA), Greater Vancouver Regional District, The
Ethical Funds Company, Novex Couriers, BALLE BC, Worldchanging and, of course,
Light House Sustainable Building Centre.

LOCATION
We are located at 1575 Johnston
Street, just East of the Public Market in the
heart of Granville
Island. Our centre is on
the second floor and accessible via the glass door and staircase on the
Southwest corner of the building. This event is sponsored by Light House Sustainable
Building Centre and Cascadia Green Building Council, the local chapter of the
CaGBC. Funding comes from Environment Canada and the Real Estate Foundation of
BC.
