Introducing Green Buildings & LEED to Contractors
Hosted by the Independent Contractors and Business Association (ICBA) and Metro Vancouver, this half-day seminar is aimed at introducing LEED® to general and trade contractors. The presenter will provide an overview of how LEED® works, the contractor’s specific roles and responsibilities when undertaking a LEED® project, documentation requirements, and the practical details of how to navigate the LEED® process to successfully deliver a LEED® project.
The presenter will also share experiences on LEEDâ projects including lessons learned, overcoming common challenges and documentation requirements. Attendees will receive an accompanying guide, Green Construction: Introducing Green Buildings & LEEDâ to Contractors.
