Conservation: Our Salvation? Hydro and the New BC Energy Plan
The BC Energy Plan, released this week, sets ambitious targets to acquire 50% of BC Hydro's incremental resource needs through conservation by 2020. What does this mean and is this realistic? (Heck, forget realistic, is this even possible?!) Join the BC Sustainable Energy Association at its Vancouver Chapter Meeting on Wednesday March 7th at 6:30 pm as Jim Nelson, Manager of Marketing for BC Hydro's Power Smart Program, will provide an update as to what the Plan means for BC Hydro and its programming at a practical level.
Following the presentation there will be a chapter meeting with updates and opportunities for volunteers to become involved in our many ongoing projects.
