Green Wall Design 101 Introductory
Course

Through a series of case studies, this
course familiarizes participants with existing green wall technologies, their
environmental benefits and issues related to their design and construction. This
course provides information that you can put to work immediately, including
details and exercises on how to:

Determine major functions and
components of a green wall
Describe
characteristics and assess various advantages of different green wall
systems
Understand market drivers encouraging
green wall implementation in North America;
Understand how to
design green walls for maximum benefits and LEED™
points.

Course instructor:

Randy Sharp, ASLA, CSLA
A Landscape
Architect and a LEED® Accredited Professional, Mr. Sharp is a principal with
Sharp & Diamond Landscape Architecture Inc. in Vancouver, Canada. He
specializes in the design and installation of extensive and intensive green
roofs as well as green walls, rain gardens and permeable
landscapes.

Those collecting AIA, AIBC or ASLA credits for
application toward local / regional associations or for licence renewal can
