Green & Net Zero Home Renovation: One Example

In response to CMHC Net Zero Energy Healthy Housing Pilot Demonstration Initiative, TQ Construction, Brantwood Design and Light House Sustainable Building Centre proposed to investigate the potential for renovating Helen Goodland's (Executive Director at Light House) home to net zero energy consumption.  The project involves such strategies as solar hot water heating, passive solar, a super-insulated building envelope and energy-efficient appliances and fixtures.  Helen will be speaking about the project and will be available to answer questions about net zero energy and sustainable design in general.  Please see the attachment below for more details.
