Free commuter cycling skills course

Surrey Sport and Leisure Arena, Surrey - The Vancouver Area Cycling Coalition is offering a free Commuter Cycling Skills courses to those who are interested in cycling for transportation but lack the confidence or skills to ride in traffic. To register, go to www.vacc.bc.ca/bikeskills.
Classes take you through the most common situations faced when riding in traffic and provide you with tips to make biking to work a fun and regular part of your life. You'll learn to:
- ride safely and confidently in traffic
- check your bike for safety and adjust it to fit you
- ride at night and in the rain
- choose equipment and clothing
- plan the best routes
