Eileen Wosnack

Eileen Wosnack, Owner, Eclectrix Organic Home

*A special thanks to Eileen for filling a cancellation on short notice!

The trade off between certified green interiors products and purchasing local may be mixed with social sustainability and responsibility.

Definitions: All that talk about reducing the carbon footprint...what is that all about?

Cost factors: Local is cheaper? Maybe not, but what is the real cost? cost to workers, cost to environment, cost to recycle, cost to own

Products: Bamboo versus Douglas Fir, Trade offs...doing with less, buying what you need

Sustainability: Why not granite? Alternatives to countertops. Organic cotton. Processing, manufacturing, shipping.

Fair trade labour, social responsibility

Certification process.

Looking at products for homes, hands on.
