The Real Estate Institute of BC’s
2007 Conference, Climate Change and Impacts
on Real Estate, takes place November 8 – 10, 2007, in Whistler. The
goal of the conference is to prompt thinking about new ways of dealing with
climate change and its impact on real estate as it relates to planning,
developing, selling and insuring properties. The first 150 people who register
will receive a free ticket to the Cornucopia House Party (Cornucopia is
Whistler’s annual celebration of food and wine, which takes place the same week
as the REIBC conference).

A seminar 'Future of our Energies' will be presented at the Chemical Engineering Build, 2360 East Mall at UBC; this Thursday Nov. 8th at 11:00 am, Room 204 CHBE.

1) What will be some of the effects of climate change and how might they
