Fab-homes™ showcases a selection of modern, European dwellings planned along the principles of Passive Design and Sustainable Architecture, designed to consume up to 90% less energy for heating, cooling and building operation than a standard house and up to 50% less that a LEED Platinum home. Featuring superior insulation and ultra air tightness, compact design and passive systems such as solar gains, these Eco-homes aim to maintain a comfortable temperature in winter and summer without or only little active heating and cooling.

Chateau Homes provides custom pre-fabricated wood frame structures from their 25,000 sq ft factory in Richmond. These homes use FSC certified lumber and sheathing materials, low VOC adhesives and coatings and other environmentally friendly materials and components. All waste is re-used or re-cycled. Chateau will provide a custom solution to every building project tailoring the design and components to suit the logistics, budget and style of the building. A Chateau pre-fabricated home can be bundled with state of the art EPS foundation systems from Quad-Lock and footing systems by Fab-Form along with a wide range of exterior and interior finishing items and materials. Chateau has provided custom homes for clients across the USA and into Japan, China, Korea, Indonesia and more recently Africa. Chateau also has a division advancing renewable energy systems for photo voltaic electrical and evacuated tube solar hot water.
