p+a furniture delivers an innovative retail experience with a fresh approach that encourages informed choices for sustainable home, work and play environments. The p+a concept is conceived as a complement to Penner & Associates Interior Design, combining retail, a design studio and online store. The retail venue features p+a furniture elements and carefully-selected companions that share the p+a aesthetic and values. Descriptive cards accompany all products, providing details such as the materials and finishes, a sustainability scorecard and care instructions. Since 1999 Ornamentum has manufactured contemporary furniture for interior designers, architects and private clients across Canada and the United States. Each Ornamentum furniture piece is bench made from start to finish, and then signed and dated by an individual cabinetmaker. Materials are eco-certified when available.

Working with the natural mortality of our local forests offers a bounty of windfallen, beetle killed and mature hardwoods that lessens our carbon emissions when properly extracted. FSC Certification ensures these woods come from well managed forestry. All our floors come with a "Certificate of Origin" that tells the story behind the wood.

Our floors come finished with OSMO Hardwax Oil, made from naturally re-grown vegetable oils and waxes. OSMO Hardwax Oil offers a pleasing finish which enhances the wood grain and is easy to maintain. Its not a plastic film and won't peel, flake chip, crack or scratch white like plastic urethanes do.

inBed Organics was started as a bedding and bed company that would
give people the freedom to choose healthy sleeping environments. Our
concerns with unexplainable SIDS led us to question “What are we sleeping on?”.

We
needed to find a product that would give a healthy sleep without
concerns of mold, dustmites, and allergy causing chemicals as well as
suspicious flame retardants. We want to give a choice of natural
organic sleeping options as public demand makes purchasing decisions
based on their values for themselves and for the sustainability of the
Earth’s depleting resources.
