Metro Vancouver’s Jervis St Forcemain project has arrived at Light House! Metro Vancouver is upgrading the line to provide improved environmental protection to Burrard Inlet. Most of the Pine Street section will be installed using a ‘trenchless’ construction method, in a tunnel 20 metres below the road. The tunnel portion requires one entry shaft on Pine Street, located directly in front of Light House. Bring your camera and check out the tunnel shaft and boring equipment! Light House is located at 2060 Pine Street in Vancouver. From downtown, the Centre is a 10-minute bus ride, or a five-minute drive over the Granville Street or Burrard Street bridges. We are well served by public transit and there is plenty of street parking nearby.

The Resource and Exhibition Centre is open Monday through Friday 1pm-5pm.  All other times by appointment.

Light House access during construction:

By bus: From downtown Vancouver: Take the 4 bus or the 7 bus and get off at Pine Street. Take the 17 Oak bus and get off on 4th Avenue. Take the 50 bus and get off at Fir Street. Take the 10, 16 or 17 UBC bus and get off at Granville/West Cloverleaf. Walk West along 5th Avenue to Pine Street.

From east or west Vancouver: Take the 84 bus and get off at Pine Street. By car: From downtown Vancouver, take Howe Street heading south. Continue over the Granville Street bridge. Stay in the right lane and veer right, following signs towards ‘West 4^th Avenue/Fir Street'. Merge onto 4^th Avenue and turn left immediately onto Pine Street. We are located on the East side of Pine Street, between 4^th and 5^th Avenue.
