Chateau Homes provides custom pre-fabricated wood frame structures from their 25,000 sq ft factory in Richmond. These homes use FSC certified lumber and sheathing materials, low VOC adhesives and coatings and other environmentally friendly materials and components. All waste is re-used or re-cycled. Chateau will provide a custom solution to every building project tailoring the design and components to suit the logistics, budget and style of the building. A Chateau pre-fabricated home can be bundled with state of the art EPS foundation systems from Quad-Lock and footing systems by Fab-Form along with a wide range of exterior and interior finishing items and materials. We build or renovate using this material for walls, floors and plaster, creating a beautiful adobe or Mediterranean look. The 12” thick walls are a breath-able monolithic structure which has many beneficial features. The properties include: fire resistance, pest resistance, high in thermal insulation rating, sound insulation, thermal inertia, inherently airtight carbon neutral structure, increased earthquake resistance, no moisture problems (integral wall, no moisture barriers or additional insulation needed), strong, and sustainable (80% hemp chips which are currently agricultural waste).
